What is Cake Central and how did it come about?

Cake Central is forum made by myself and NiB. The forum was created by demand after the late CiaL closed in November, last year.

Aims of the forum is not to gain a large amount of members, but to build a friendly community and provide a nice place to chat and meet new people.

There is also a chatbox on the forum. This can be found at the bottom of the home page.
