Phantasy Star Zero

An up and coming DS RPG release from Sonic Team, Phantasy Star Zero re-immerses gamers into the world of Phantasy Star. Despite having a single player story mode, the game really shines when you go online. Allowing you and three other players, either friends or strangers from around the world, to battle through one of the game's many dungeons, online play has been a staple of the Phantasy Star series since the release of Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast, and the PSZ looks set to maintain this tradition. Set for a Q4 release in PAL regions, this is certainly looking like a promising game.

It's not an MMO as such, but the online is like that.
