Mirror's Edge
Should be called Marmite's Edge.
You either like it or you don't.
Personally I like it but it could have been a lot better.
Discuss.

I wasn't having a go at you, just seemed like a weaker choice for your favourite game of all time.
I'm currently doing it on hard and without using guns, near the end of it actually. Seems more frustrating then enjoyable at the moment.

Ocarina aged terribly TBH. And Galaxy I never got into.
And I know you weren't having ago at me... :/.

I played Ocarina after TP and WW. And I found that it was much more engrossing then both of them. It still feels epic even though it has aged.
I can understand Galaxy, though I have done its levels countless times.
I aim to quit Mirror's Edge after I've done it again, it's a great game despite what I say. It just feels like it could have been a lot better.
Re: Mirror's Edge
I didn't really like it. The whole business of enjoying running along felt very superficial. It wasn't a particularly deep game. Shooting wasn't nice, either.

You weren't meant to shoot though, you were meant to just move.

Then they shouldn't have bothered including shooting at all.

Didn't really like it that much.
I felt the depth-of-field blur felt too slow and awkward. The running and jumping felt awesome though.

Absolutely loved it, definitely my favourite game of last year. I'll agree that it's flawed and frustrating a lot of the time but as far as I'm concerned it was the only game released last year that really did something to push forward first person games, if not immersive gaming in general.
